What is GEPCO Sanctioned Load?

Sanctioned Load (measured in Kilowatts - kW) represents the maximum electrical power capacity allocated to your connection by GEPCO. You can check your sanctioned load on your printed bill or via our GEPCO Online Bill Checker.

Step-by-Step Load Extension Application Process

  1. Obtain Load Extension Application Form: Download or collect the form from your local SDO office.
  2. Submit Wiring Test Report: Attach a certified Electrical Wiring Test Report prepared by an authorized electric contractor.
  3. Pay Demand Notice Fee: GEPCO issues a Demand Notice for additional security deposit and capital cost corresponding to the extra kW load requested.
  4. Meter Upgrade: If extending from single-phase to 3-phase, GEPCO installs a 3-phase digital meter.
